EFT is likened to acupuncture without needles. There are no surgical procedures involved, no medication, no harsh pushing or pulling of the body.
It is a gentle and simple technique which is rapidly being discovered by people around the world to heal emotional, physical and performance issues. You use your own fingertips to gently tap on parts of your body, meridian points, while thinking about a specific issue or problem.
EFT can be used for a range of issues which could be limiting your life. For example, it has been used for physical pain, anxiety, insomnia, phobias, cravings and weight loss. You could also use it to prepare for an event that you are anxious about such as giving a speech, going to the dentist, sitting an exam, taking a driving test, entering a sports competition............ you will probably think of other things which are personal to you.
Who can use EFT?
EFT can be used by people of all ages. It is simple to learn so that you can use the technique as and when you need. For ongoing and deeprooted issues it is best to see a pracitioner than attempt to deal with it on our own.

EFT is an energy psychology approach which draws on theories and practices which have been around for thousands of years. Acupuncture has for many years been used to free negative blockages to the energy. The practice of Tai Chi or Chi Gung is another ancient form which assists the flow of energy to relax and energise us physically and emotionally.
Gary Craig, in the USA, combined ancient approaches with more recent theories such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He developed EFT to simplify Dr Callaghan’s method of Thought Field Therapy (TFT), which has resulted in a technique which is accessible to all.
